The Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health is for people who wish to learn more about mental health, get a better understanding of it, and help others in the workplace by applying a mental health action plan and other knowledge they have gained from doing this mental health training.
The topic of mental health has seen a substantial growth, and rightly so. In recent years and arguably right now it has been a taboo topic, but when it comes to family, friends, and colleagues there is nothing taboo about it. One of the main objectives of this course is to help identify people who may be suffering with it and how to help people through a better understanding of the topic. CPR is not the only way to save a life…
To ensure that you have the information and understanding to raise awareness of mental health, a variety of teaching techniques will be employed, including real-life scenario scenarios, movies, and group exercises. This course may be taken face-to-face with one of our Mental Health & Wellbeing trainers or online using Zoom. At the conclusion of this one-day session, there will be a multiple-choice exam.
Each participant will receive a certificate proving they attended the Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health training after successfully completing the course. Certificates are automatically approved by the First Aid Awards and have a three-year validity period (FAA).
